The concept of WEDO was started in the heart of Kenya!! Co-creator met a group of women who started a banana flour business from a single loan granted to them by the Kenyan Government. He was inspired by both the quality of their product and the profound impact that a small government loan could have on the lives of women in rural Africa.
Our banana flour is made from 100% all natural green bananas – no additives or preservatives. Using one ingredient, we create a healthy simple product. Best of all, green bananas are virtually flavorless and so our banana flour can be used as an almost direct substitute for wheat flour both in taste and in texture. WEDO banana flour is a healthy, tasty, gluten free alternative that all people can enjoy!
